Piano Notes for Kids
Learn to read music, one note at a time.
A short, friendly game that teaches children to find the note on the stave and play it on the keyboard, in the same order a piano teacher introduces them. No accounts, no adverts, no tracking.
Shown as Huegus Piano Notes for Kids inside the app. iPhone and iPad app coming to the App Store. The web version works today on any phone, tablet or computer.
What it is
Five minutes a day, in step with their lessons.
A note appears on the stave. The child taps the matching key on the on-screen keyboard and hears straight away whether they are right. Stars unlock the next stage, so progress feels earned and fair.
The 16 stages follow the order used by beginner piano method books: middle C first, the right hand before the left, five-note positions, then sharps, flats and leger lines. Each stage keeps practising the notes already learned.
See it in action
Simple enough for a seven-year-old.
What's inside
Built to be picked up and put down.
16 note stages
Treble and bass clef, leger lines, sharps and flats, and key signatures, introduced gradually.
30-second sprints
A quick timed round for any stage already earned, with a personal best to beat.
Instant sound
A chime for a right answer, a soft boop for a miss, a fanfare at the end of a round. Easily muted.
Several players
Brothers and sisters share one device, each with their own progress, stars and scores.
A view for parents
See how each child is getting on, and reset progress when needed.
